Derrick Penney helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. My daughter got involved with a pretty bad guy. All of us ended up having an altercation in my home. Things got rough, and I got hurt. We ended up in jail ultimately. Although I have a somewhat checkered history myself, I ha...ve overcome adversity in my life, Mr. Penney was able to look past that and saw that at the end of the day, I was just a concerned dad. He did everything he could to work with the prosecutor to get the best possible outcome for me with no permanent consequences. In my experience he is hands down the best defense lawyer I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Mr. Penney is by far the best Attorney in Las Vegas! The following is 100% true. If I didn't have him I would have received a sentence of 2 - 20 years in prison and obviously a felony. I pretty much thought my life was over! Let's start from the beginning ... My family was looking for an attorney for... me when I first got arrested. My family and I did not have a lot money for representation. My mom went to 4 interviews and they wanted $20,000 $25,000 for a retainer not including the price if I went to trial. A friend recommended Mr. Penney. Mr. Penney helped him with a case where he was up for 7 felonies and got them all taken care of!!! So my mom went down and met with him. Instantly she could see he actually cares about his clients (not like those other Attorneys who just wanted a bunch of money). When it came to price Mr. Penney only charged a retainer of only $10,000 which is still a lot but that was by far the lowest possible price given the fact I had a high profile case. Mr. Penney came to see me in jail I signed some paper work saying he would represent me and said he was going start on my case. After a month the DA came to Mr. Penney with a deal after he found some crucial evidence and told them what we had in our defense. The deal was 1 - 3 year in prison and 1 felony. I was ecstatic since that was nothing compared to the amount of time they wanted to originally sentence me. I said take the deal!! Mr. Penney said no let me talk to the DA again and see if we can work out something better!!!! I was shocked I didn’t know this was even a possibility. The next day he came to me and told me the best possible deal, I was speechless!! The DA agreed on 6 month County Jail time with no possibility of house arrest and NO FELONY if I complete probation!!!!! This man saved my life.
