A doctor did more to me in surgery than what I was told and or advised on. Please advise.....

You need to obtain your medical records. This would include the consent for surgery you signed. Then, consult with a medical malpractice attorney.

I do not know. I have never sent a demand letter unless I include a demand. Ask your attorney why the letter went out like that.
