caring, compassionate, and goes the extra mile

I have been fortunate to have been assigned Debra for my family court case. She is extremely kind, responsive, and keeps you in the loop. She is the 4th attorney in my family court custody case which has been going on for over 2 years. He is on his 4th PAID attorney. All of my attorneys have been... assigned and when I was going through a divorce years ago I had 3+ paid attorneys and they did not have the compassion, diligence, and nonstop dedication to me and my case as she does. She has even put in a motion to remove the biased Law guardian. Most attorneys are afraid to do that but Debra listened to my concerns and once she saw it for herself she did it. I am not paying her.... She is my assigned attorney. She is doing an extraordinary job and nothing like the other attorneys who were going through the motions pushing me to settle without listening to me. My family told me that you get what you pay for and because I am not paying I would end up with a bad deal and not have an attorney who fought for me. That is not true with Debra. When I am done with school and have to pay an attorney I would gladly pay Debra. She emails me regularly and is very witty in her responses to opposing council and AFC. She forwards all messages back and forth from attorneys (which my paid ones always did but assigned council ones did not always send but I would find out in court when they talked with me before court. Its night and day difference. She knows case law, she doesn't give up, and she remembers the details. I have shared her motions/counter motions/ responses/ supplemental responses (previous attorneys did not do supplemental responses so I didn't even know this was a thing) with friends and family who have also went through the court system and everyone tells me how lucky I am to have her. Due to the other party not supplying timely interrogatories she was even able to have DEPOSITIONS ordered. Have you heard of a non-married couple who live in different states in Erie County family court that the court orders depositions for, which I wanted but didn't think was possible... which I know will be able to uncover all of his lies and ensure a positive outcome. If you want the best for a family court matter I recommend Debra.
