David A Monroe

this lawyer is god awful I wouldnt refer him to anyone. He has stood me up, doesnt even remember who I am when we go a few months without a court hearing. He wont ever return my calls. I have to call from a number he doesnt recognize to actually get him on the phone. Then when I do he asks to call me... back and never does. I then get really upset and then he calls me back scheduling a face to face and he blows me off! I have doubt he will even show up for court coming up. I want to fire him so bad, But I dont want my case to be prolonged any longer

I would not recommend Dave Monroe. I retained Dave Monroe in Nov. '07 for a tresspassing/destruction of property claim. I did not get my first court date until 2 1/2 years later due to Dave Monroe not notifying the other party. Case finally settled 3 years and 2 months later. During the process Dave ...Monroe could not present the case to the fullest due to losing part of my evidence and not reviewing the rest of the evidence I gave him. The money that was awarded to me has not been paid to me by Dave Monroe. He is no longer at the attorney office and can't be found.

I am a current client and am just wrapping up a 1 1/2 year ordeal with Mr Monroe. I would not recommend any one hire him at this time. He is very disorganized. I felt like I was always calling him to make sure things he told me he would do were being handled and in most cases they were not. He sa...id he filed things and he didn't. It seemed like every thing was handled or put off to the very last minute. He was often was unprepaired for hearings and seemed to get angry when I would ask questions. I just never knew what to expect from day to day with him. Sadly, I referred him two other people and they confirmed that they had expierenced the same kind of service.
