Biography
David Greenberg provides tax consulting services to individuals and businesses, principally focusing on State and Local Taxation (SALT). He is an Atlanta-area native originally from the Stockbridge-Jonesboro area. He graduated with honors from both Georgia Southern University's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and Mercer University's School of Law. David received an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University specializing in employment tax issues and tax litigation. David is happily married.
David is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, which allows him to present cases before Georgia's several trial level courts (Magistrate Court, Probate Court, Juvenile Court, State Court, Municipal Court, and Superior Court). He also is admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia, which is Georgia's ultimate appellate court, and the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
David is authorized to present cases before the U.S. Tax Court. He also can present federal trial cases before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia (serving Macon, Albany, Athens, Columbus, and Valdosta) and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia (serving Atlanta, Rome, Gainesville, and Newnan).
Fun Fact: David once played a pick-up basketball game at the U.S. Supreme Court's basketball court. Justice Clarence Thomas requested the Court install the basketball court and regularly played basketball with the court's law clerks.
