He attended Santa Ana Community College for two years where he played on the Don’s championship football team and was Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1999. He graduated from Chapman University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2003. In 2006 he obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the first law school in the United States of America – William & Mary Law School. During law school he was a Graduate Research Fellow at the William & Mary Law School, a clerk for the colonial Williamsburg Virginia City Attorney, and a judicial extern for Justice William W. Bedsworth at the California Court of Appeal.
Beyond of the office and courtroom, David enjoys spending time outdoors in his hometown of San Juan Capistrano. He is also a real estate broker.
