David Robert Allen

David is a very diligent and professional lawyer. Many of my friends, in course of filling NIW, complained to their lawyers but I did not face any issues working with him. He accomplishes preparing the documents in a timely fashion and builds the case with a solid foundation without too many details.... He is easygoing and starts building up the case from documents and facts provided by the client without making the client work themself. I am really impressed by his work.

I got in touch with David in 2018 when I first started to explore more permanent immigration options. While we couldn't work together at the time (I was an impecunious postdoc!), he and I stayed in touch over the years. During this time, David was always available to answer my questions, however inan...e, and did so graciously. Thus, when I was ready to apply for an EB2-NIW, I couldn't think of anyone else I'd've worked with. Here, too, David was present, attentive and the entire application process was as smooth as jazz in its heyday. As a result, I turned to David and EP once again for an O-1A visa which was similarly a triumph. I cannot recommend Ellis Porter enough, but David is truly a gem in a firm already refulgent with many bright people.

I used David's service for the NIW-EB2 case since some of my friends highly recommended him. So, I expect him to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised by his outstanding service! He is always available and accessible, answers questions (and you will have questions, trust me) thoroughly. While my fr...iends who work with other attorneys complained about their slow response, I do not recall waiting for David's answer to my questions at all! This is quite important during the immigration process which is naturally very stressful. The speed that David and his team prepared my package was quite stunning too! This fast speed comes with excellent rigor and care as well. They double-checked everything, commented on my questions, and discussed my suggestions to ensure that I have no questions or concerns. The NIW process with David was so smooth and fast that I would question why my other friends are having all troubles with their attorneys (e.g. they have been asked to provide many documents that I didn't even need to per David's advice). It was when my case was approved without any RFE that I realized what a phenomenal job David did. I strongly recommend David to anyone who wants their case to be filed as quickly as possible with an amazing attorney who will be there for them throughout the process.

By the time David has accepted to represent my case, I was rejected by all other agencies that you often hear about them. Unlike other agencies that focus on citations, David has done an outstanding job in showing how my education, research, and publications could be fruitful to the US. I submitted m...y case with David in 4 months since the time I signed the agreement with the EllisPorter. My case was approved with only 11 citations without RFE while I was a Ph.D. student in social science. Strongly suggest working with David and don't waste your time waiting for other agencies to accept your case only based on the number of citations you would have. He is fast and responsive and doing a professional job.
