Dan represented me in a divorce case several years ago. I have to say in the court room is where he shines. He may not be the most organized lawyer in town but when it comes to loyalty and a dedication to seeing through BS he should get an award. With his help I was able to get full physical custo...dy of my boys. My ex helped of course and even her own lawyer quit after we brought to light her actions. But he seemed to revel in putting a bad person in her place. That was refreshing when so many lawyers are detached and numb. It was important that someone who is fighting for understand the emotions and know whats important. The kids.

It is in my opinion and experience dealing with mr. Van Norman, that he actually made a bad situation worse. My case was a custody case for my daughter, and after weeks of no returned phone calls, and nothing being filed at the court, and following his advice which ended with haveing to deal with th...e local police, not in my favour, I had to retain another attorney. When I confronted Mr. Van norman about my retainer being somewhat refunded, it took him about a month to return my phone calls, and when he finnally did, he provided me with a billing statement that actually said that I owed him money. This being after him not even filing any paperwork with the courts let alone actually haveing a court appearence.
