Just after graduating from Dallas Area High School, Dan enlisted in the United States Navy. He was a sailor in the aviation community, where he excelled. While serving he learned of a path where he could earn an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He pursued it and he achieved an appointment from the Secretary of the Navy. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in American Law and Politics and was commissioned a naval officer by the President of the United States, in person, in June 2009. Now in his fifteenth consecutive year of military service, Dan currently serves as a Lieutenant in the Navy in Washington, D.C.
While serving in the Navy Reserves, Dan studied for and earned his law degree at Widener School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. As a law student, Dan excelled in the area of criminal defense and was selected by his peers to join the Widener Criminal Defense Clinic, which gave him a strong beginning and much courtroom experience. He also clerked with the public defender office of Lackawanna County and with the federal public defender office of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, again gaining much courtroom and research experience. And throughout his three years in law school he worked as a research assistant for Rogan Law. Though he kept a full schedule, Dan finished law school with academic honors.
Dan has been and continues to be a strong proponent of citizen service. In addition to his military service, law practice and other community activities, Dan serves as a member of the Wyoming Rotary Club. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster: (1) the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service; (2) high ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society; (3) the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life; (4) the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
Dan is currently serving on active duty with the Navy and he intends to rejoin the Pennsylvania legal community after his current military service is completed.

excellent
I was facing serious jail time and loss of license for a year. My lawyer was able to help me stay out of jail and not lose my license while also having minimal fines. He gave me peace of mind through the whole process and I would recommend him to anyone who has legal problems.
