Cynthia Lynn Gustafson

When I was given Ms. Gustafson by the Legal Aid assn, for my divorce, I was hoping that I could get away from my husband and with at least some money to start over. Ms. Gustafson had me turn over bank account records as soon as my husband asked for them, without even making copies! There went my... proof of how much he made... bank deposits, etc... When I suggested later to find out how much he made that we file for a motion of discovery, she refused, saying that it would take too long. When my husband and his attorney then told her that they could only afford $400.00 per month (for child support for his seven children at the time) she readily accepted. Luckily the judge didn't believe it and told him that he should pay $750.00 until I could better prove his income, which obviously didn't happen. ne My ex was always trying to harass me and control me, even during the divorce. With some help from friends, I managed to leave, and in doing so left my forwarding address and telephone number (which is/has still remained the same as it was when I first had her as an attorney). All in all, did I feel that she helped me at all? No way, and quite the opposite in fact. I would not recommend this "Attorney" to anyone! Women beware!
