Cynthia Victoria Gomez

Cynthia Gomez practices in the areas of Employment-Based immigration law as well as litigation and family-based matters.  Ms. Gomez is highly experienced in the preparation of employment-based petitions including: E-2 Treaty Trader; L-1A and L1-B Intra-company Transferee; EB-5, O-1, O-2, P-1, H1-B, EB-1, and National Interest Waivers.  Ms. Gomez is also experienced in the preparation of asylum cases, waivers, and Motions to Reopen and Reconsider.

Ms. Gomez graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review, Vice President of Phi Delta Phi, International Legal Honors Fraternity, and Secretary of the Student Chapter of AILA.  Ms. Gomez interned with DHS-ICE Office of the Chief Counsel in Miami, where she gained extensive litigation experience, drafted various motions and assisted with BIA appeal briefs.  During her third year of law school, Ms. Gomez served as a Law Student Representative for the St. Thomas Immigration Clinic, where she represented clients in removal proceedings; conducted client intake and legal research on complex litigation issues; and, drafted various memorandums and motions.

Ms. Gomez has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Rutgers University.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.  In her free time, Ms. Gomez enjoys traveling and immersing herself in new cultures.
