Clay T Rossi

Clay Rossi was born in Bayshore, New York and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Alabama. He graduated with honors from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2005, were he served on the Honor Board and as Editor of the law school newspaper. Clay moved to Mobile in 2006 and worked as the law clerk to the Honorable Sarah H. Stewart, Circuit Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. He has tried jury cases involving products liability, commercial fraud, property damage, and personal injury. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school Clay worked in the fields of publishing and fundraising in Washington, D.C. He has written on a wide range of topics. His work on the dangers of amending the Posse Comitatus Act after the terrorist attacks of September 11th has appeared in such diverse forums as The Washington Times’ Insight Magazine, the website for Now with Bill Moyers, and in a briefing report to the National Defense University at the National War College.

He has a lovely wife, Elizabeth, and the couple has a precious daughters, Julia and Cecilia. Clay and his family are members of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Mobile
