Christopher A. Cooklin

Mr. Cooklin was a gift from God in my case, my offense was committed in 2009 and investigated by the state of Iowa with assistance from multiple federal agencies, and at the time I it was investigated I had moved to Texas and was working and making a great living. I was contacted by the DCI on a tip ...and quit my job and moved back to Iowa to answer and confessed to my crime, yet the state chose not to file any charges at all even with all the evidence and my confession and no attorney throughout the process, and I don't even recall having mirandized either which is beside the point. Just felt strange that nothing was going to happen. So, I start life all over again, this is the only crime I'd ever committed by the way. So, around the spring of 2013 I become informed by an atf agent that the federal system is going to prosecute this crime, and they have every shred of evidence along with my confession so I'm pretty much up a creek without a paddle! By the grace of God I was able to retain Mr. Cooklins services and he was able to get me a sentence of 13 months at a minimum security camp when I was looking at 20 years in some not so nice places! I believe it was because of his years of experience that this was possible. He walked me through everything and was clear as to what I should/shouldn't expect, he was able to calm my nerves at some very rocky parts of this ordeal. He would take calls with me freaking out and he always was able to calm my nerves. Again, I can't thank him enough and HIGHLY recommend his services whether it is state court and even more so if it is a Federal case because the federal system is not where you want to be without a great attorney!
