Chelsie Moerbe Ramos

Chelsie talks a big game, but is no action. All she did for me is tell me what she was going to do for me and not once followed through. She let my ex drag out our divorce for almost a year. She did not do anything about him not abiding by temporary orders or enforce what was ordered from him w anyth...ing! During 11 hrs of mediation and us only having about 3hrs w the mediator, she just played on the phone and talk about how she wanted to go home. When she should have said "obviously this is going nowhere and we have nothing to mediate. Let's go to trial." She just wracks up a huge bill and and for what work I have no idea. She let my ex and his family run the entire thing and does not have the capability to stand her ground when needed or represent her clients when it comes to actually fighting for them. It was like she was working for the opposing counsel and not me bc she was afraid of doing her job in the court room. She was a no show to court and sent her husband last minute. She didn't even tell me she wasn't coming until just before docket call. If you have children and are leaving a dangerous marriage do NOT think you can count on her for anything. She even allowed opposing counsel to do full discovery and production on me and never requested it from them. She's lazy and just sends out crazy questionable bills. The staff is nasty and rude when questioned about why they haven't done what they promised. Her ethics in her law practice are questionable and I would never recommend her to anyone, especially if they had kids that needed to be kept safe. No work and a big bill is what you will get from her.

TERRIBLE child custody/divorce/visitation attorney. I Chelsie on referral from another attorney with whom I'd had no legal experience (friend's spouse). I fired her & hired a competent replacement as soon as my case became legally complicated & Chelsie proved to be dimwitted. Pros: political connecti...ons in Harris County. Cons: no personality, exhorbitantly priced based on her experience and legal expertise, nasty office staff, impossible to reach, terrible follow up, incredibly poor legal judgment, even worse personal choices that negatively impact client trust, failure to provide adequate invoicing, failure to follow through, dramatically poor lag time in communication, has babies and goes on maternity leave without informing clients, recommends her mean and sleazy husband as your trial attorney because she lacks courtroom experience (her words), unable to strategize. I wouldn't even recommend her to my ex- out of spite (because that would be cruel & unusual punishment).
