Charles D. Lee is a founding partner of Lee Schwalb LLC, with offices in Kansas City, Denver, and Seattle. He represents clients across the Rocky Mountain West and Central Plains in corporate law, complex litigation, employment law, water law, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Recognized as a Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters and a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America—an honor awarded to less than 0.5% of U.S. attorneys—Charles is also on the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators, bringing extensive experience in arbitration and mediation to high-stakes disputes.

With decades of practice in business and agricultural law, Charles has handled jury trials, appeals, and arbitration involving contract disputes, fraud, securities, and agricultural liability. Previously, he served as General Counsel at National Crop Insurance Services, advising on corporate governance, antitrust, and federal government contracts in the crop insurance sector.
