Charles Joseph won a complicated case for me against a very large multinational corporation. After initially discussing my case with Charles, I immediately felt that I had gained a valuable ally and advocate. Charles put together a small team of experts and, through various filings and negotiations, ...compelled my adversary to offer a substantial settlement. In addition to his legal and negotiating expertise, Charles also provided me with encouragement and moral support throughout the case. It was clear that Charles had my best interests at heart. I have sought Charles’ advice on several occasions since the conclusion of my case. His counsel is always thoughtful, empathetic and wise.

From the outset I was very impressed with Charles and his openness, honesty and dedication towards handling my case. He discussed his thoughts with me and asked my opinion prior to taking the steps he deemed necessary to effectively move my case forward. It took a little over four years to resolve ...my case, again I am very satisfied.

My experience with this firm was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I initially spoke with Mr. Maimon, who told me that I appeared to have claims worth pursuing. The very next day, I was referred to Mr. Rumack. Later, Mr. Joseph became involved, had a phone conversation with me, listened to the... details of my case while Basya took notes, and then instructed me to continue speaking with Mr. Rumack. Throughout this process, I repeatedly explained my situation, provided information, answered questions, and waited for updates. By the time I finally received a definitive answer from Mr. Rumack, approximately a month and a half had passed. After all that time, I was told that the case was too small for the firm to pursue. My frustration is not that the firm declined representation, but that it took so long to reach that conclusion after multiple conversations with multiple people. If the case was ultimately considered too small, that determination could have been communicated much earlier, saving everyone time and effort. For ordinary people seeking justice, time matters. Not everyone has the resources to pay attorneys by the hour or wait weeks only to be told that their case is not financially worthwhile for a law firm. The experience left me feeling ignored, discouraged, and as though my concerns were not worth serious consideration. I expected better communication, better case screening, and greater respect for a potential client’s time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Shame on everyone involved for allowing this process to drag on for weeks without a straightforward answer!
