Casey Spence Francis

Casey Francis has a strong desire to help people, whether it’s through her work as an attorney or her role as a volunteer for numerous community groups.

Casey is one of a select group of board certified specialists in workers’ compensation law practicing in North Carolina.

For the last decade, Casey has been the lead attorney on workers’ comp cases involving Spanish-speaking clients with a focus on representing undocumented workers in their claims. She has unmatched experience in the state in these kinds of cases.

Casey has spoken at several Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for the N.C. Advocates for Justice, teaching other attorneys in the state how to successfully represent undocumented clients in their workers’ compensation claims, how to incorporate artificial intelligence in their practice, and how to navigate complex workers compensation litigation.

Casey speaks Spanish, as well as Modern Standard and Egyptian Arabic.

Casey is vice president and founding member of the N.C. Association of Women Attorneys’ Piedmont Triad Chapter. She is a member of the N.C. Bar Association, where she serves as a council member for the Workers’ Compensation Section. She is also a member of the N.C. Advocates for Justice, and serves as Secretary for the Workers' Compensation Executive Committee.
