Karen G. Poppy

Karen G. Poppy's practice includes both workers' compensation and civil litigation.  She maintains her own practice representing injured workers in workers' compensation litigation, as well as businesses with workers' compensation insurance coverage issues.  Karen also serves as of counsel to Jaret & Jaret, providing litigation and general counsel representation in the areas of construction, business, real estate, employment, consumer class actions, insurance, insurance coverage, and personal injury.   Karen's practice centers on well thought-out discovery, motion practice and trial strategy, and achieving strong results in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Karen is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th District.  Karen is a member of the California State Bar, the Workers' Compensation Section of the California Bar, and the Marin County Bar Association. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas.  She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College and her J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law.
