Biography
As a corporate attorney in the bay area, I have worked with technology based startups located in the US and overseas and advised on corporate and technology related issues for small to mid sized companies. As part of my practice, I have drafted formation documents, equity issuance documents, made securities and trademark filings, advised on equity structure for founders, worked on equity and debt financings, and advised on commercial contracts relating to the day-to-day business.
I have also helped overseas companies break into the US market by advising on the optimal entity structure for US presence, resolving cross border issues, advising on intellectual property issues and foreign direct investment reporting requirements in the United States.
Prior to this, I practised international law in India and Singapore after having been licensed in India from 2007. My international experience combined with my US experience makes me better suited to understand the needs of cross border clients and startups.
