Restraining orders are traps that allow you to be arrested at any time. You've got to follow it to a tee.

There is no general rule. It varies from courthouse to courthouse and from DA's office to DA's office.

You should hire an attorney. Since these charges are misdemeanors, the attorney can go to court without you.
