Bryant Stanier York

Bryant York's practice focuses primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property matters, bankruptcy litigation, white collar criminal defense, and antitrust matters, including government investigations and class actions.

Mr. York has represented clients in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitrations, mediations and administrative proceedings before federal agencies. These matters have spanned a broad array of substantive issues, including breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, defamation, unfair trade practices, misappropriation of trade secrets and violations of antitrust law. He has also provided pro bono counseling to human rights advocacy groups, including the monitoring of the International Criminal Court in the Hague and constitutional developments in the Republic of the Sudan.

Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, Mr. York practiced for six years as an associate in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
