Bridgette Odom Tomasetti

Miss Tomasetti was Assistant District Attorney in Asheville, N.C. in 2007. She was Bridgette Odom then. I had brought charges of Communicating Threats against a young man who had repeatedly threatenend not only my life but the lives of a woman and two children in my home. He had also shot out throug...h our front door and the window of my car. I went to her office on several occasions to discuss my case with her. Every single time she and her staff were extremely rude to me and dismissive of me. They snapped at me and acted as if I was nothing but an intrusion on their time. I literally had the door slammed in my face 5 times! On the day of trial Mrs. Tomasetti called me out into the lobby of the courthouse and informed me that she was dropping the charges against the accused. No explanation for why she was dropping the charge whatsoever.. When I expressed my displeasure with her decision she flew up in my face and stuck her finger inches from my nose and threatened me. I have never been treated as poorly and unprofessionally in my entire life. This woman could not care less about doing her job which she was sworn to do, much less looking out for the safety and well-being of the woman, children, or myself. We felt so abandoned and ignored we moved out of Buncombe County since we no longer felt safe in our home. I would highly recommend to anybody considering hiring this person to absolutely avoid doing so. She threw a nice family to the wolves and no doubt in my mind she would do it to you. She has no professional or moral standards at all. I have reported her to the Bar Association in North Carolina and to the Office Of Attorney Regulations in Colorado. As far as I know absolutely nothing has been done to her regarding my complaints.
