Biography
My law practice emphasizes representing businesses and employers; passionately representing their interests while keeping an eye of the financial bottom line of litigation. When necessary, I am comfortable taking cases to trial, and have successfully tried cases in both Oregon and Washington courts.
My practice includes litigating employment cases on behalf of businesses and employers regarding discrimination, trade secrets, noncompete agreements, and wage & hour issues. This includes representing my clients in proceedings before Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries, Washington's Human Rights Commission, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I also have significant experience litigating business and commercial matters.
I frequently speak to businesses and trade organizations on important issues impacting business and employers. I have been the co-presenter of several Portland Business Journal webinars, and have also had several articles on employment law topics published by the Portland Business Journal.
