Brenda Jo Kruse

Brenda J. Kruse is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Kruse concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, patent law, business related matters, contract and lease negotiations, and real estate acquisition and development.

Raised on a farm in Henry County, Ms. Kruse understands the unique estate and wealth transfer planning needs of farm families. She helps farmers create holistic succession plans that are tax efficient and provide the desired succession of control to the next generation.

In addition, Ms. Kruse has vast patent prosecution experience having worked on foreign and domestic patent matters for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and individual inventors. She has an intimate working knowledge in a variety of automotive product related technologies including climate control systems, vehicle interior systems, fuel cell systems, vehicle battery systems, and the like.

Ms. Kruse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, magna cum laude, from Ohio University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, College of Law, where she was a published member of the University of Toledo Law Review. Ms. Kruse is also a registered Engineer-in-Training and worked as an engineer prior to entering the legal profession.

She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Henry County Bar Association, and Fulton County Bar Association.

Ms. Kruse currently resides in Napoleon with her husband and four children.
