Demonstrated Success: Brad started his legal career working for two of the largest law firms in the world. Destined to be a trial lawyer, he represented high-net-worth individuals and companies in complex commercial litigation, white collar crime, intellectual property, and business disputes. He began serving as the lead trial attorney in jury trials early in his career. In his very first trial as lead attorney, he won the right for a family to remain in their home after being wrongfully accused of causing a public disturbance. He successfully obtained case dismissals, favorable rulings, favorable settlements, and jury verdicts for several clients.
Seeking Justice: Building on his early success, Brad wants to focus his efforts on helping community members facing the greatest risks. So in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and the dramatic social disruption brought on by police misconduct scandals, Brad walked away from a six-figure salary to launch The Ryynanen Law Office. He is driven by a desire to protect the rights of individuals backed into a corner.
Born on Independence Day: The Ryynanen Law Office opened for business on the Fourth of July. Brad’s personal declaration of independence from corporate law freed him to focus on helping individuals navigate the criminal justice system. Today, Brad provides legal services to people facing misdemeanor and felony criminal investigations or charges. Whether in state or federal court, no case is too large or too small. From indictment or arrest through trial, Brad stands beside his clients to hold the system accountable.
A Born Trial Lawyer: Brad chose the intensive trial skills program at Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas to train as a trial lawyer. He now volunteers as a judge at mock trial and moot court competitions to train the next generation of trial lawyers.
Real Human: Brad enjoys working with people from all walks of life. His favorite part of practicing law is getting to know new people and learn their stories. When he’s not working, he can often be found hiking with his wife and their chocolate lab/German shorthair pointer mix, grilling, or working in the yard.
