Advertises as low cost and charges more than expensive attorneys. Only minimal litigation experience.

I do not recommend Ms Reed as an attorney. She told me that she is low cost because she charges $175 per hour. She will also say that you are getting two attorneys for the price of one because her husband is a much more successful attorney and he helps her with her cases. The first time I went to ...court with Ms Reed she received a phone call from her husband. He was calling because he was trying to find her at the Tulsa county courthouse so he could see her at work. He had never seen this before. I didn't recognize how inexperienced she was or how telling that phone call was until months later. Despite her claims of being inexpensive I was charged $50,000 by her for 11 months of work. I earn $47,000 per year and support myself and two children. She knew this when I hired her yet she charged me as much as possible saying that my ex-husband would be ordered to pay her fees. He was not and Ms Reed was not able to take my case to a conclusion. She now expects me to pay all of her excessive fees. I had to hire another attorney to replace her. The new attorney was an "expensive" attorney but charged me a fourth of the amount the Ms Reed did in the subsequent 11 month time period. My new attorney was able to bring my case to a satisfactory conclusion.

This review is riddled with false statements and misrepresentations. Ethical obligations prevent me from disclosing the identity of this client and referring to public documents that show the falsity of many of the statements. The remainder of the false statements can be disproven by attorney-client communications. However, the attorney-client privilege survives after representation ends; therefore, I can not provide the copies of the attorney-client communications that absolutely rebut the remainder of her false accusations. I can affirmatively state that what she says is false and that I successfully rebutted these false claims in a proceeding where I was granted a judgment against her. In addition, within the last 30 days, her ex-husband referred one of his friends to me. According to this friend, her ex stated that I am the best attorney he's ever seen (he went through 3 seasoned attorneys during this case). His attorneys also referred clients to me after seeing me work. What is very telling about this woman's review is that this review was written just shy of 2 years after I moved to withdraw from this woman's case, but only one day following an exchange between us related to her failure to make payment on my judgment against her.
