Disappointed in Overall Experience

Part I Blake came highly recommended by my father. One of his colleagues, or clients (I can't remember), had hired Blake & had a good experience. I trusted my experience would be similar - nothing could be further from the truth. I believe my father's colleague/client who hired Blake was in th...e US on a work Visa from an Asian or European Country. I believe they were also married to a US Citizen. I could be mistaken about the region, but what's important is that it was not Mexico. My wife is from Mexico & Blake literally added YEARS to our immigration process. Hiring him was the worst thing we could've done. I've since spoken to so many individuals from Mexico whose process was smooth because the counsel from their attorney was far superior than Blake provided. Adding insult to injury, all of their attorneys charged them less than we paid! I’m convinced my wife was the first Mexican Citizen Blake’s worked with. He had little to no knowledge of the process, as it pertained to Mexico. We had to go to Ciudad Juarez on two separate occasions because Blake did not prepare us correctly for the first interview. He made no mention that I, as the US citizen, needed to have established domicile & have a job in the US. We were both living in Cancun, Mexico at the time. They literally asked my wife one question in the interview – “does your husband live with you?” To which she replied, “yes.” INTERVIEW OVER!!! My wife was hysterical, in tears. We had put together all the necessary documents & proof, as counseled by Blake, in preparation for our trip to Juarez. My wife studied for hours to have all of her potential responses ready. None of that mattered. The interview was over in seconds. We had to come back the next year to do it all over again after I had gotten a job in the US & moved there to establish domicile (with my wife still in Cancun). The plane tickets, hotel stays, rental cars, medical exams, fees, etc for a second trip were an unnecessary expense we had to incur due to Blake’s misinformed counsel. When I questioned him about this after the first failed interview, Blake attempted to LIE to us, stating he had told us about the domicile & working in the US! Unbelievable. Not only was he absolutely ignorant to the process (I can only reasonably assume due his lack of concern for our outcome), he wasn’t professional enough to admit to his mistake. He ignored his lack of knowledge & preparation & attempted to pin the blame on us. When he saw how upset this made me, he walked his statement back. I was a professional basketball player in Mexico & didn’t always have clear proof of income, even though I filed taxes in the US & was transparent. Blake told us we needed 3 years of tax returns with better proof of income. I changed jobs in Mexico to a position that could provide that. Despite producing evidence of those 3 years of income - when it was time to officially sponsor my wife, Blake suggested we have my father co-sponsor (even though I was making over $300k/yr). I have no idea why Blake did not just suggest that idea at the beginning. He should have. It would’ve shaved years off of our process (he blames most of the delay on Covid). I don't have enough space to finish my review. There's definitely more we were unsatisfied with. I'll submit a 2nd review.
