OUTCOME: Judgment of Appellate Court was affirmed. Therefore the judgment of conviction was reversed and the case was remanded to the trial court for a new trial.

The defendant was found guilty of various offenses, including sexual assault in the first degree and risk of injury to a minor and was sentenced to a lengthy period of incarceration.
