Bassil Saadallah Ally

Beware of this Attorney. I filed an assault by contact complaint with the City of Austin Municipal Court in July of 2014. Bassil Ally was the prosecutor in charge of my complaint. After finally connecting with Mr. Bassil via telephone, I was given the run around about the process of pursuin...g charges. First he told me one thing, then back tracked... Mr. Bassil hung up on me, after talking down to me, due to my lack of understanding of the process. I called back and was hung up on again for voicing my concerns with his lack of professionalism. He became so angry that he flat out told me that no matter what I did he was not going to pursue the case. This was not due to lack of evidence, or a frivolous case.... This was personal for him. He did not like me and he flexed his "power" as a civil servant. If he practices in a private practice the way he practices as a "civil servant" I would run and run fast. I have filed a grievance with the Texas Bar Association. While filing a grievance I discovered that he has not updated the information on his bar profile. His current employer is The City of Austin Municipal Court. BEWARE!
