Can I personally sue the driver that hit me as I was leaving a Walmart. Even though the driver doesn't have anything of value.

Yes you can sue the at fault driver - whether you will ever collect a penny is another story. You should be having a discussion with your attorney...
I have a nice amount homeowners insurance claim that is not settled yet.

Selling the house should not affect the claim - you can put terms to address it in the contract of sale.

I don't see anything wrong with it from a legal perspective. When you stay on someone else's property then can impose whatever fees and security...

You wouldn't be "suing" your insurance company - you would be making a claim - as to what you would make a claim for without uninsured motorist...

Sounds like the insurance companies are handling it. There are no damages for what might have happened.

If there was only minimal damage and no personal injury you may not be charged with anything. You should report it to your insurance company.
