I retained his services in 2016 for a divorce The first time we appeared in court I felt like I was the lawyer and I was teaching him he had no idea what he was doing, the first clue is he was working out of his car, meeting me at library’s to plug his computer in. My gut told me this was not right b...ut I thought he’s a young lawyer just starting out so let’s give him a chance. I paid this lawyer $4000 for him to tell me that after 28yrs of marriage and 3 daughters I was entitled to nothing are you kidding me, he then tried to get me to pay for my husbands attorney That’s when I got assertive and said who are you working for me or my husband. The final crusher is that he totally blew off 2 court appearances without letting me know. I emailed him I called I texted with no response. I now have been forced to retain another lawyer for the divorce and a lawyer to report him to the Illinois Bar Association This man took my money and did nothing. I have no idea how he passed the bar exam. If you are looking for a lawyer my suggestion is to go else where this guy does not know what’s hes doing ~ He took my money and did nothing. The worst

Anthony fails to show or answer calls. My ex and I have been to 3 court dates in the past month and he does not show or return phone calls. She even called him off a number that wasn’t hers. Anthony answered the phone and once he recognized her voice he said wrong number and hung up. Sad this divorce... is taking longer than it should because of a no show lawyer
