Andrew Cronin Benson

I hired Andrew Benson in 2017 for representation in Domestic Relations (family court) dealing with a custody case. After some erroneous accusations were made by the biological mother this turned into a criminal case in which Andrew Benson said he could represent for me in Criminal Court. What a joke...!!! Not only did he grossly over charge me over 60k but he pulled a disappearing act on me. The line used was he was going on “maternity leave” - no heads up, no phone call that he was going to be “taking time” but completely vanished and I never heard from him again. His partner took over the case and I ultimately fired the firm he worked for due to their inability to perform to basic standards. Stay away from Andrew Benson and the Leving Law Firm - A pure smoke and mirror campaign. There’s a reason why you can’t find any information on Andrew Cronin Benson online - think about it. Seems that a attorney would like to market / promote their skill sets but that’s not the case with Andrew Cronin Benson, he’s hiding. I would like to know if their are any other former clients that were “represented” by Andrew Cronin Benson who also had the same experience of him disappearing midcase with no communication. This is all my personal experience and opinion of Andrew Cronin Benson. Stay away!!!

Firstly, let me be clear that I am NOT a fan of attorneys. I've been dealing with custody issues now for a long time. I've always had a bad taste in my mouth where it pertains to attorneys. BUT, Andrew is certainly the exception to the rule. Andrew listened, he confirmed what he thought he heard ...me say, asked clarifying questions, communicated with me in a timely fashion and provided me with the strategic approach he was using. Whether face-to-face or via email, text or over the phone, Andrew listens first. He shows interest in what I have to say. He would summarize what I said to him to make sure he clearly understood what I said and what I wanted. He always asked clarifying questions to make sure he had gathered all the information even if I didn't know how to convey the full content of what he needed in order to help me. The BIGGEST thing for me, with Andrew, was that Andrew ALWAYS communicated with me in a timely fashion - email, text, phone. If I forget to do complete something on my end, he would prompt me. After court, he would call me as soon as he was done. Things were done in real-time and I greatly appreciated that. The services from Leving are NOT cheap. But, if you want the best, you HAVE TO pay for it. This family/custody/support forum is one where you need a great attorney or the courts will take things into their hands, decide for you and screw your life significantly. Hopefully I will never need Andrew's services again (I'm hoping all the drama is over now, thanks to him), but in the event that I need an attorney again, I will certainly return to Andrew. While the other attorneys at Leving are good, many are older and close to retirement. Andrew is a younger, fresher attorney who meets the needs for today. I don't always have time to talk over the phone. The old guys always want to talk over the phone. Andrew will text and email. This allows me to communicate while I am at work or even during a meeting if I need to sign documents. I do this electronically and return. The other attorneys might want to take a page out of Andrew's play book. But, I am appreciative for Leving's offices and attorneys and certainly appreciative to Andrew for his patience, kindness and great legal support during this very contentious and arduous case.

You dont ever truly know what constitutes a good lawyer until you are standing next to one in front of a judge. And when the bill comes, you want to be sure you are being provided with the chance for the best possible outcome. I am currently being represented by Andrew Benson and with all sincereity ...I’m deeply thankful to be so. From his succinct communications, thoughtful courtesies, patient and calm demeanor, and above all, his empathetic commitement to one’s struggle, Andrew fights the good fight in the way you hope when you sign the check to the retainer. As you enter a court room, and your Life’s direction depends on a court decision, you want exactly the level of expertise Andrew possess to be stood beside you, doing all that can be done. But beyond thorough representation, there is a true sense that he’s not only capable, but equally important, that he cares. The court system with all it’s authorities and proceedings is a scary place with uncertain outcomes. Though you can trust Andrew will make you feel like you have a friend in the midst of it all. And that makes all the difference to push forward and have hope.
