Amber L. Humphries

Amber Humphries moved to Central Florida, from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, in 1998.  Ms. Humphries earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the prestigious Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.  Thereafter, she attended Florida A&M University College of Law where she earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence.  During law school, she became the Research Assistant to the Dean of Academic Affairs as well as a proud member of the Stonewall LGBTA Law Association.  While attending both college and law school, she worked full-time as a paralegal at a firm that focused its practice on commercial litigation, construction law, and business law. 

Ms. Humphries has a passion for truth, justice, and equality.  She strives to truly understand and identify with all of her client’s concerns and believes that personal attention and zealous representation are the cornerstones of the practice of law.  She is admitted to practice in Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

The areas of law in which she focuses are as follows: commercial/business litigation, commercial collections, replevins, landlord-tenant, contract drafting/negotiation, business formation/dissolution, employment law, and general civil litigation. 

In her spare time, Ms. Humphries enjoys hiking, kayaking, boating, softball, yoga, travel, cooking, classic literature, theatre and the arts.
