Alison E. Hickman is an Associate Attorney at Grady H. Williams, Jr., LL.M., Attorneys at Law, P.A. Mrs. Hickman grew up spending a lot of time with senior adults, has always enjoyed their company, and is happy to now be in a position to provide legal services to them as an Elder Law Attorney.
Mrs. Hickman began her career as a legal assistant at an Orange Park business transaction and estate planning law firm. Her work at the firm inspired her legal career, which eventually led her to start and run a successful sole proprietorship practicing in the areas of Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy for two and a half years before joining the Law Firm of Grady H. Williams, Jr., LL.M., P.A.
Mrs. Hickman has lived in North Florida for more than 30 years and many of her family members also reside in the area. She moved to Florida from Christchurch, New Zealand as a child and has yet to find a good reason to leave the great Jacksonville weather and people.
Mrs. Hickman is an advocate for education. She has been involved in the Clay County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee since 2011 and presents educational workshops for seniors on a regular basis. She also enjoys interacting with area youth by volunteering as a Teen Court Judge for the Clay County juvenile diversionary program. In her spare time, Mrs. Hickman enjoys gardening, reading, participating in car shows, and spending time with her husband, Mike, and their pets.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Alison on several occasions, usually involving complex issues faced by the entire Clay County Probate Bar. Alison has proven herself to be bright, hardworking and an asset both to her clients and her fellow attorneys. She is always eager to discuss issues that arise in the probate practice, and formulate inventive solutions. I would recommend her to anyone seeking representation in the fields she practices."
