Alicia Journey

Alicia Journey is an attorney who is a member of both the California State Bar and the United States Supreme Court Bar. She graduated with her B.A. in Neuroscience from Westmost College, graduating summa cum lade. Alicia received her law degree from Pepperdine School of Law in 2009, graduating with honors. In the same year she received a certificate in Dispute Resolution from the world renowned Strauss Institute in Dispute Resolution. During law school she worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in their Criminal Division focusing on sexual crimes against children. She was a prosecutor for the Riverside District Attorney’s office specializing in Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, and Elder Abuse and tried 34 trials from misdemeanors to three-strike prison cases and attempt murders. She spent time training law enforcement on investigating these crimes. Before joining Ghitterman, Ghitterman, and Feld, she opened her own law practice. Alicia has served on the Mental Health and Behavioral Wellness Commissions in Santa Barbara County. She is committed to mental health awareness and spends her time giving back by speaking and writing on this topic for attorneys. Her greatest joy is spending time with her two beautiful children.
