Alexander J. Yandoli

Alexander J. Yandoli is an associate at TBWD Law. Mr. Yandoli focuses his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense and General Civil Litigation.

Prior to joining TBWD Law, Mr. Yandoli served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mark S. Ali, P.J.Cr. of the Essex County Superior Court of New Jersey. During his clerkship, Mr. Yandoli conducted extensive legal research, prepared written memorandum, and assisted His Honor in the preparation of court orders & drafted written opinions.

Alex was born and raised in New Jersey, and in 2017 he graduated from Rutgers University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a focus in Political Science. While attending Rutgers University, Mr. Yandoli completed an independent study with renowned Professor Emeritus, Lennox S. Hinds, Esq., in which he extensively researched political prisoners of war and police violence/crimes in the United States for the update of Professor Hinds’s published book, Illusions of Justice, Human Rights Violations in the United States.

Mr. Yandoli later attended New York Law School. There, he received the Dean’ Leadership Scholarship, a merit-based program with a monetary award given to those students whom placed in the top 25% of their entire first-year academic class. Mr. Yandoli also acted as the teaching assistant for Professors David Chang & Martha Hochberger and in his final year as a law student, Mr. Yandoli participated in the New York Law School Criminal Defense Clinic as a Student Attorney.

Before graduating law school, Mr. Yandoli worked with the New York Law School Street Law Program as a high school teacher for ninth and tenth grade students at The Charter School for Law and Social Justice, Bronx, New York. The Street Law program is designed to develop both the intellectual and cognitive skills of the high school students, with a primary focus on developing an understanding of the law, the legal process, our system of government, and effective citizenship.
