Alex G. Kykta serves as a partner at Thompson Stam, operating from the Texas office to provide nationwide legal representation. Dedicated to helping those in challenging situations, Alex relishes the opportunity to advocate for individuals who face seemingly insurmountable problems. His adept legal acumen covers various litigation areas, including personal injury, qui-tam actions, commercial disputes, patents, and oil and gas conflicts. Combining an educational foundation in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin with his legal prowess, Alex generates streamlined solutions that help clients navigate complex challenges. He holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where he sharpened his writing skills as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. This background allows him to present issues effectively, enabling clients to make informed decisions. Alex's diverse experiences, ranging from work in the Texas legislature to roles in the medical device regulatory field, add depth to his understanding of the regulatory landscape. Prior to joining Thompson Stam, he developed his litigation acumen at an AM 100 law firm and on the plaintiff side. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Alex enjoys fishing, hiking, and biking when he’s not in the office.
