Alberto Luis Ramos Zorrilla

Alberto Ramos Zorrilla was born and raised in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He attended the University of Puerto Rico for his undergraduate degree and earned a Bachelors in Science of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to attend University of Puerto Rico School of Law, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After being admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar, he gained considerable courtroom experience litigating personal injury, breach of contract, and premises liability cases in the Luis E. Pérez Lebrón Law Offices.

Alberto completed an L.L.M. in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he focused on Health Care Business and Finance, Physician Regulation, and Health Care Fraud and Abuse. After completing his Masters of Laws degree, he worked as an Associate in the Litigation Department in one of the preeminent law firms in San Juan, O’Neill & Borges LLC, where he practiced in commercial litigation, administrative proceedings and health law.

Alberto relocated to Miami and joined Hightower & Partners and his work ethic, dedication, and attention to detail led him to the position of Division leader of the Miami office. He practices in various areas including automobile negligence, premises liability, property damage, negligent security, and insurance coverage issues. Alberto has remained a member of the Puerto Rico Bar and handles cases there for the firm.

Alberto currently lives in Aventura and in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, reading, painting, and he is an avid basketball fan.
