29 year old washington corporation

I would like to say that the above rating of excellent does not even apply. I think the correct rating would be superior. I will tell you why I say this, as all of us small business owners, we know three years ago was a very ugly time for all of us. I was one of the lucky ones as I had my line pulled... at 680,000.00. I had never been in this situation before; this is a very scary thing to experience. The bank wasted 25,000.00 dollars of my money playing the bankers silly games. Than I was so very lucky to get involved with Cynthia Kuno. The reason I say this is Cynthia had everything worked out in two weeks. The bank was not working with me, once I had Cynthia engage with the bank I had a settlement in two weeks. I could go back to work and focus, which I was having a very hard time doing. Today I owe 102,000.00 and have been working on the monies the company brings in. This has not been easy on any of the employees or the company. We are still here. This would never have happened without Cynthia’s help. I would like to say the best part about working with Cynthia is I knew I was working with someone that really cared and gave me the feeling that I really can trust this person. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. This is very important when your scared. At the end of the day, I would like to say that having Cynthia on my side was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I consider Cynthia to be a winner. For anyone in this position, she is a very fair and caring attorney who knows how to get it done without all the inner turmoil. That no nonsense approach.

Highly capable of handling complex multi-layered issues

Because of the complexities of our situation which involved multiple entities and various trusts, the attorney we selected needed an unparalleled level of knowledge and experience. Ms. Kuno matched our needs and also proved to be tireless and relentless. Cynthia is a dedicated attorney - p...ossessing a deep grasp of the law both esoteric and recently enacted which was crucial to our case. Despite the intricacies of our situation and the case laws which were related to it, Cynthia maintained a great degree of common sense at all times which assured that we had the highest probability of meeting our objectives. Cynthia is an extraordinary person - professional and capable of standing her ground with uncommon diplomacy when the situation calls for it. She is additionally able to work with a cadre of other attorneys which was necessary given the myriad of rapidly moving parts including multi-state suits which exponentially increased the complications through which Cynthia had to proactively problem-solve. We could not ask for anyone more compassionate and courageous in defending our family!

Terry and Vicki Larson, Land Owners/Stewards on the Washington Coast

Cynthia A. Kuno has been our lawyer through a very complicated property rich, cash poor estate whereby we were forced to file a Chapter 11 to save land that has been in our family since the early 19230's. She has done an excellent and far more superior job than we even expected. She is one of the m...ost caring and highly intelligent individuals we have ever known. We appreciate Cynthia very much and she has made this very emotional and difficult period of our lives much easier for us, keeps us informed, is always there for us and knows exactly what to do to protect ourselves and our creditors. Cynthia has gone beyond expectations!! She's simply wonderful!!

Client Review

Cynthia is both honest and knowledgeable. Bankruptcy is a very scary and humiliating time in ones life. Cynthia explained my options, walked me through it, and told me what to expect int he future. I was very comfortable with her from the beginning. She is very accessable and I have reffered her to a...cquaintances of mine on several occasions who were going through a tough time themselves. Through my experience with Cynithia, a friendship has been built due to who she is as a person.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
