Had a public defender and she had to withdraw because of a conflict of interest but was informed my case was very winnable. Extremely circumstantial evidence. So they assigned me to Mr. McCarty. He is a paid lawyer and didn't seem like he had time for memat all. He scared me into a plea and ring the ...open sentencing he stuttered and mumbled the entire time. He also gave poor advice to take the deal right away instead of waiting a week till another airing could take place. It caused me nothing but problems and I lost custody of my son as a result of his incompetence and lack of ethics.
