Ed Shea was my attorney from 20-25'. This was a very high-profile custody battle. We were tasked with systemic failure after systemic failure, for years. After going through this myself, I can't think of a better equipped attorney and his firm. He is considered by his peers as a" Trial ready" a...ttorney and known for handling "complex cases". This is why I Hired him. I had previously hired an attorney that was not equipped to handle complex cases, and it wasn't me that made the case complex. This is something that you need to consider. I do not even know where to start on how fortunate I was to have Ed and Spencer on my side for a brutal divorce proceeding. I will summarize how awesome Ed and his team were, but I really want to highlight his ability to be caring and to listen throughout the two year battle. This was an emotionally ...draining and a hard two year fight. Ed was extremely honest with me and didn’t play games wasting time. I was always kept informed and knew my options. Ed was relentless and knew the law which ultimately lead to us winning at trial. From the day he took my case I put full trust into him and I feel this was such a success because of that. He knows the law and is phenomenal at trial in front of a judge! Ed was very thorough and was always very forthcoming on what he needed from me. I had to trust him though the process and I’m so glad I did. My ex was a complete liar and fabricated so many lies throughout the two years, there were multiple contempts and hearings while we waited for trial. Ed was always on his A game and was able to shut down the other side without issues. Ultimately, Ed and his team were always very well prepared and he knew my case inside and out. He was able to come out on top of the divorce proceedings and got more than I ever thought possible from trial. This was all due to his due diligence in the case. Do not hesitate hiring him!!

I hired Ed to represent me in a child support modification case. Ed is organized, to the point, and does not waste your time ($). The case dragged out for 10 months due to the opposing party and their attorney. Ed was great during that time and did his best to minimize the costs while emailing and... meeting with me when I really needed the reassurance. He predicted accurately the most likely ruing, that the case would be dragged out, and in the end the modification was EXACTLY what we proposed months earlier. I recommend him without hesitation!

I never imagined that I would need the services of a divorce attorney, but then again, I don't think anyone ever goes into a marriage imaging that they will.
