I was unfortunate enough to be assigned Mr. Horst as my public defender. Met the guy once and then he wouldn't return calls. On my second court date he pulled me out in to the hall and told asked me "what's your excuse for failing or etg (alcohol) testing) " when I told him he must be mistaken becaus...e I haven't had a drink since my arrest he told me the judge is going to give me 30 days in jail. It was only after I produced the receipts showing the test days he has filed for me are wrong and that I have not failed a test did he some what understood. That god for the prosecutor and the judge because this guy is a real pos.
