David Robert Scholl

David Scholl joined the team at Quiroga Law Office, PLLC in late 2016.

Originally from Illinois, David relocated to Spokane, Washington, in order to attend Gonzaga University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. Over the course of law school, he fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Having grown up surrounded by flat land and corn fields, he greatly appreciates being able to look out his back porch and see snowcapped mountains.

Although he grew up just an hour south of Chicago, Dave’s hometown was quite small, with only 360 people. However, he did meet his wife, Jenna, near his hometown. They were married on August 21, 2015. Since then, both his new wife and step-daughter have joined him in Spokane, where they hope to continue to grow their family.

While in Illinois, David obtained his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University. He then graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. After working as a teachers’ aide for a few years, Dave decided to change course and pursue a career in law.

One of the main reasons David pursued a career in law is simply to help others.  He started working at Quiroga Law Office, PLLC in December, 2016 with the goal of assisting immigrants to remain in the U.S. and even become citizens. Commitment to helping those often underrepresented is nothing new to Dave, as he volunteered extensively with the Moderate Means Program while attending Gonzaga University School of Law. The goal of that program is to help low income individuals and families find discounted appropriate legal assistance.

Aside from his wife and step-daughter, David also has four furry family members: 2 dogs named Teddy Roosevelt and Jesse and two cats named Sammy and Newt.

When David is not working, he enjoys watching movies, reading, playing video games, and exploring the outdoors. His respective favorites in those categories are Alien, 1984, Skyrim, and the Smokey Mountains National Park. He also enjoys running, and has participated in the Spokane Marathon once and Bloomsday twice.

Above all else, David cherishes his family and friends. Though he now lives across the country from most of them, he speaks with them often and visits whenever he can. David credits his parents with providing him with the motivation needed to move west and succeed in law school.
