Sean E. Johnson is the founder of Johnson Law Firm, P.C., one of Spokane’s leading law firms for family law and personal injury. Since opening the firm in 2014, Sean and his team have built a reputation for fighting for families and their fresh start while delivering strong results in and out of the courtroom.

With over 20 years of legal experience, Sean has successfully represented hundreds of clients across divorce, custody disputes, child and spousal support, protection orders, personal injury claims, and civil litigation. Known for his strategic trial advocacy and relentless preparation, Sean has earned favorable verdicts in both jury and bench trials. He is also highly skilled in negotiation and settlement, ensuring clients receive the best outcome whether inside or outside the courtroom.

Sean grew up in Butte, Montana and graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Exercise Science before earning his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2003. His broad background in civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, and criminal defense shaped his ability to handle complex cases from every angle.

Today, Sean focuses primarily on family law and personal injury in Spokane and throughout Washington State. With 5 attorneys and a growing support team, Johnson Law Firm manages 300+ active cases at any given time, making it one of the busiest and most trusted firms in the region.

When he’s not advocating for clients, Sean enjoys life in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Jessica and their blended family of five children. From skiing in the winter to boating in the summer, he’s a true outdoorsman who values family time above all else.
