Kara Dawn Hill

I could give zero stars I would. This is the most unprofessional, unprepared “office” I’ve ever seen. In the time I was paying this firm I talked to Kara twice. She puts Casey Flores at the helm who is a disgusting, foul mouth, rude employee. Every time we wanted to give our opinion or state our view... or desire on anything. Casey met us with attitude, cursing, and downright told us we were never going to get what we wanted. Phone calls to Casey ended up in a screaming match with her usually calling me vile names. Even the “C” word was yelled at me. Emails were rude and one sided, never giving us a chance to communicate any options or strategy. It was her way or no way. I kept my composure because I was fighting for my child and needed the help. However in court, Kara was unprofessional and ill prepared. She was on her phone instead of using the information we provided her with. When the office was visited, it had kids playing inside and Casey in pajama bottoms and slippers. The only thing the office did for us was take our money. When our case became too difficult for Kara, she dropped us and gave us 3 days to find another attorney. We were in another state having to do this so we were left blindly searching for an attorney who could handle the load. Thank god we found Christine Gallagher. She won us everything and more. Use her. Kara Hill is not prepared to handle anything in court, and has no desire to help you if it’s not within the hours of her office. In fact she prefers to zoom court rather than actually be there. One time she called us 10 min before court and said “are you going in”? She freezes, even with the information given to her. Casey Flores is just a nasty, bitter woman. Even after we went to Christine, Casey would show up on zoom in our court appointments she had no business to be in. Like she was stalking us. The entire office is a nightmare. Christine Gallagher is top notch, professional,very well versed with the court system, and will fight for you. Kara Hill, along with Casey Flores, just take your money.

Kara Hill is probably the worst attorney i have ever encountered and by far the worst experience i went through. First off, you will rarely speak with Kara, instead she pawns you off to her minion, Casey Flores. Casey is extremely unprofessional and foul mouthed. Casey is textbook personality typ...e passive aggressive. 100% This case involved our daughter and we needed extreme care with her case. My wife and I had both been in divorces in Washington and were familiar with how cases are handled. We had many questions, not questioning her knowledge but rather more on the lines of, had laws changed since we had gone to court. Things were being handled so differently, the excuse given was due to covid...things had changed. When we were finally able to see Kara Hill in action is was via Zoom. We would soon learn that Kara rarely if ever went to court in Spokane, she would zoom those cases. We found out she spent the majority of her time in Davenport! Awesome.... Watching Kara Hill handle the hearings of our daughter was painful. Like watching a child play with a gasoline can next to a fire. She was unprepared, acted clueless about the case, failed to bring up important testimony or facts in arguments and literally pissed off the commissioner so much we got fined. Then her minion Casey proceeds to blame us for the failure at court! I had provided extra testimony in the event they could use it....which THEY CHOSE TO! Which led to it being removed due to it not being filed in the beginning of the case. Which...if you're an attorney who understands law wouldn't have allowed it but rather would've book shelved it for Trial. This is just 1 example of her failures, the only thing I can say she did right was firing us as her clients. Which she had threatened us with on multiple occasions including 1 time demanding $5k immediately even though Casey had told us we were ok since it had been the weekend and we were out of town this being on the day of a hearing!!! Extremely unprofessional, untrustworthy and out of touch with her office. We were given 3 days to find a new attorney. This is when we were blessed. We found Christine Gallagher who hands down is far superior in comparison to Kara Hill. For your family law use Christine Gallagher, by far the best in every way. One more thing.....only refer Kara Hill to someone you hate and you want them to lose in court.
