Jennifer Erin Wofford

I am a young mother and was at the courthouse representing myself against my husband who abused our son and and punched and bruised me. I had no money because my husband liquidated our account and hired Spokane's most vile family law lawyer who is a real dud of a human being. I was trying to ask th...e judge for more time because my husband had me served only 3 days earlier over a holiday weekend and I didn't have time to get legal help. The clerk told me I needed to make a pleading. I had no idea what that was but took the piece of paper out in to the hallway and tried to figure it out with my parents. A few minutes later Jennifer Wofford came out into the hall and told me that the judge was calling our name in the courtroom. My parents asked Jennifer if she was an attorney and if she could show us how to fill out the pleading. Jennifer was SO helpful and kind and took a few minutes to help us even thought she was busy with her own cases that morning. We were not successful in getting additional time from the judge and the hearing was scheduled for later that afternoon. Not knowing what was coming next we called Jennifer and asked if she would be willing to meet with us and to our surprise she cleared time in our schedule and told us to come over to her office. Jennifer spent nearly an hour with us and looked over our paperwork and told me about the court procedures and offered some great recommendations on how to proceed with my motions. We offered to pay for her time and but she refused to take any payment. The hearing went well for me and our son and the commissioner granted my request to prohibit his father from taking our son to his residence out of state out of state. I am so thankful that a complete stranger was saw that we needed help and was willing to reach out to us and assist me during a very stressful time. I feel very blessed to have met Jennifer Wofford. I would highly recommend this attorney and her office to anyone who wants kind, compassionate, and professional legal expertise.
