Biography
Jacob T. Allen is an Associate Attorney at MDH Law, P.S. and deals exclusively in Family Law litigation. Jacob graduated from Gonzaga Unversity School of Law in 2018 where he participated in Law Review, the Juvenile Record Sealing Clinic, as well as the Environmental Law Clinic. Jacob obtained the position of Development Chair for Gonzaga University School of Law's Law Review through his dedication to detail.
Jacob began his legal career almost solely interested in criminal law. Jacob became exposed to the world of Family Law working for Maxey Law Offices as a Rule 9 Legal Intern. It was at this office that Jacob's interest in Family Law was picqued.
After graduating and passing the Washington State Bar Exam, Jacob began working at Robert Cossey & Associates. This firm dealt primarily with Criminal Law but had branched out into Family Law in the last few years. Jacob's interest and dedication to Family Law continued to grow and he moved to the MDH Law, P.S. where 90% of the firm's cases were Family Law. It was at this firm that Jacob's desire to work solely in Family Law was cemented.
In 2020, Jacob moved to Crouse Erickson, PLLC, Spokane's largest exclusive family law firm. Jacob's interest and skills in Family Law continue to grow and are further buttressed. In 2022, Jacob transitioned to Winston Cashatt, Lawyers, P.S., but ultimately returned to the firm that started his passion for Family Law - MDH Law, P.S. Since the beginning of 2024, Jacob has been focusing on and building his skills in Family Law with MDH Law, P.S.
