Gregory Ryan Hill

Gregory earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of Montana in 2020 and entered the legal profession during a period of extraordinary uncertainty. That same year, he launched Apex Legal as a solo practice, guiding clients through challenging circumstances while committing significant time to pro bono and low-bono representation. Building a firm during the height of the pandemic instilled a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset and a strong emphasis on clear communication and client accessibility.

Over the next several years, Gregory expanded his professional experience by practicing with two established law firms, where he sharpened his legal judgment, technical proficiency, and strategic approach to client advocacy. In 2025, he founded Cornerstone Legal to bring together his legal training, business background, and entrepreneurial perspective in a firm designed to deliver modern, deliberate, and client-focused counsel. His work is driven by the belief that effective legal representation should be both thoughtful and practical, with an emphasis on long-term outcomes and trust-based relationships.

A deep interest in tax law ultimately guided Gregory toward a practice centered on estate planning and fiduciary matters. He focuses on estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships, probate, and trust administration, areas where careful planning and technical precision can significantly impact families and future generations.
