Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. I had the pleasure of working with him as defense attorney in a case I brought against J.R. Simplot. Bob is a lawyer's lawyer, that is, he is a professional who recognizes that both clients need to be represented in a professional manner to the best of the ability of each lawyer, but while being an advocate for the client, one needs to analyze the facts of the case and professionally communicate that analysis to the other lawyer, not do battle over pointless tasks that do not serve the client well. Our case was settled as both parties exchanged information in a manner cost effective to the clients, and while each lawyer vigorously argued their client's perspective, the case was resolved without costly litigation, and with the enthusiastic understanding of both clients. Recently, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with him on behalf of a physician he represents, and who I know professionally, and he has again demonstrated great client empathy."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
