Lauren Ashley Ellis

In July of 2023 I hired Lauren Ellis for 5500.00 to represent me in a child custody case. What a disappointment, initial consultation over the phone she agreed I had a strong case. My ex-wife & I did not hire lawyers for our divorce. I signed a parenting plan where we have joint custody but she will... be the custodial parent & my son will live with her. BAD MISTAKE! She told me she will never enforce this parenting plan, that I can see my son anytime I want. I live 5 miles from him, same school district in the house he grew up in. I have been at my job for 20 years, drug testing background checks & I am a good father. She kept her word did not enforce the parenting plan till she wanted more child support. I wanted 50/50 physical custody of my son before I knew about my child support increase & I proved that. Before we go to court Lauren asked for 2,000.00 more. I have spent 7,500.00 at this point. We go to court, she allows this judge to treat me like a dead beat dad, I can't say anything in my defense & she won't say anything. I have never been late on child support, no legal issues, work, pay my taxes. I just want my son to live with me 50 percent of the time. You've heard the term (phone it in) that is what I got from Lauren Ellis. After I talked with a reputable attorney, I was told, I had a strong case & should have won. She did not work hard on my case at all, I left the court devastated with her smiling saying well we gave a our best try. What a joke! Just like our family court system. A father is just as important in his children's lives as their mother.
